So, who am I and what is all this about?

“Who in the world am I? Ah, that’s the great puzzle.”
―Lewis Carrol, Alice in Wonderland

As this is my first post on this page I guess that this is where I tell you who I am, yeah? Well, the honest truth is that I am not entirely sure. In fact, I’m not sure that anyone ever really knows but here is what I can tell you:

I have, somehow, made it to the age of 26. I am a musician, a casual-relief teacher in primary schools and after a couple of failed relationships and some hilariously cringe-worthy dating experiences I have found the love of my life. Just over 18 months ago I met a boy, a 6’4″ boy with piercing green eyes and a smile that could make you question your very own existence.  As the story goes, we fell in love in a whirlwind, became each others permanent side kicks and, after only four months of dating, we moved in together. We moved an hour away from our friends and into a tiny, and I mean teeeeeeny tiny, apartment. And that is where our adventure really began.

This blog will follow my journey through life. The good and the bad, the success and the failures, the boast-worthy and the down-right humiliating. My last page discussed what happens when you find yourself single, living with your mother and searching for love (oh shush, we’ve all been there). However, this blog is a slightly different story. Now we find out what happens when you find your love, move in and face the world together.

I won’t only talk about relationships. I will talk about everything that happens in my world which includes working as a Casual- Relief Teacher, being a professional musician and the constant battle between “treating yo’self” and trying to lose weight and make positive changes.

I have no expectations of this blog. I have no idea if anyone will even read it. But if you do, or if you are reading it, welcome.

Love,

H.

  1. I think this is awesome! I also just started my blog today, although I’m much more of a newbie. My blog is something similar to yours. It’s basically about my life and everything that goes on it ( or that doesn’t go on lol ). It’s the first time I’ve ever done something like this so I’m a little nervous to say the least. But I love your post! You’re already one step ahead! Good luck 💋

I’m curious about your job being a casual-relief teacher… sounds amazing actually… it’s great that you’re a musician too. I myself loooove music a lot!
